The BAC is recruiting for a new Non-Executive Director (NED) to join its Board.The organisation, which has seen its influence grow significantly in recent years, supports a membership of around 1,400 elite athletes from across British sport, and is passionate about representing and empowering these athletes, while adding value to the entire high-performance system. The Board oversees all of the BAC's activities, with overall responsibility for its strategic performance, resources and assets, and will require the new NED to bring expertise and experience in one, or more, of the following areas:

• Commercial/Business Development: someone with business acumen (with specific experience in sponsorship, fundraising and/or corporate partnership development) to support in diversifying the BAC’s income streams.
• Strategy and Project Management: someone with experience in devising and implementing strategies and highly-skilled in managing complex and long-term projects.
