Sam joined the BAC in early 2018 as Head of Athlete Support after a 20+ year career in the Army.
Sam is a qualified and highly experienced mediator with an extensive portfolio of work in both the military and high-performance sport. She is passionate about mediation and the powerful benefits that it can have to both individuals and their organisation.
Sam is committed to empowering athletes, both individually and collectively, to have a voice, to raise and resolve their own issues. In her role as a Mental Health Champion, she is committed to ensuring athletes have the best mental health and wellbeing support possible, as well as influencing decisions around athlete mental health at the strategic level.
As an associate member of CIPD, Sam is a highly experienced human resource professional with significant expertise in handling grievance and disciplinary cases.
