HANNAH DEAN – ATHLETE SUPPORT MANAGER

Hannah joined the BAC in April 2020 as an Athlete Support Manager.

Based in the north of England, through her HR background, CIPD qualification and EIS Mental Health Champion training, Hannah brings strong case management experience to guide and support athletes through a range of issues which may arise throughout their career.

With a keen interest in sport and having played high-level sport as a junior, Hannah brings personal experience and passion to the role.

BAC INCREASES MENTAL HEALTH PROVISION

The BAC increased its mental health support provision, after three members of our athlete-facing staff team joined the English Institute of Sport (EIS) Mental Health Champions programme.

An intervention staged by the BAC, with the support of Sport Resolutions and law firm Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (BCLP), has resulted in over £7,500 owed to British athletes being recouped following a commercial dispute.
